Hari tau hou katoa— Happy new year everyone
We hope you all had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed the summer sunshine. A special shout-out to our Year 8 graduates and other school leavers—we wish you all the best at your new schools! This term is shaping up to be a busy and exciting one, and we look forward to reconnecting with everyone.
Whanaungatanga Paraire – Friday 14 February
We warmly invite you to our Whanaungatanga Paraire next Friday, 14 February, from 1 PM. This is a great opportunity to hear about the year ahead, ask any questions about the current education landscape, and connect as a school community. We’ll also be hosting a BBQ sausage sizzle, so come along and enjoy the afternoon with us! 👉 RSVP via your child’s ClassDojo page.
Permission & Contact Information Forms
Attached to this newsletter is an Information & Permission Form. Please return this to school as soon as possible. This form is essential for school activities and ensuring we have your correct contact details—keeping our records up to date helps us stay connected with you. These will be sent out as hardcopies for all students to take home to fill out.
Ka Ora, Ka Ako – School Lunches 2025
We’re excited to continue the Ka Ora, Ka Ako healthy school lunches programme this year! In 2025, our lunches will be provided by LeBelles from Hamilton, ensuring our tamariki receive fresh, nutritious meals each day. While they are committed to delivering quality lunches, there have been some teething issues with the new setup. We appreciate your patience and encourage whānau to send students with a little extra food, just in case of any delivery delays, until these are ironed out. Your feedback is always welcome—please let us know if you have any concerns.
Stay Updated – Read Our Newsletter Online!
Our school newsletter is available online! To help reduce paper waste and support sustainability, we’re encouraging whānau to access it through our school website instead of relying on hard copies. This way, you’ll always have the latest updates, important dates, and school news at your fingertips. Let’s work together to make our school more eco-friendly!
